The Full Island Tour is the ultimate in discovering Maggie, blending the enjoyment of jet skiing with sightseeing, local stories and expert guide interpretation throughout the trip. Over three unforgettable hours, you’ll make your way around the island’s entire coastline, from secluded northern beaches and rugged granite headlands to the well known bays of the east and the historic southern shoreline. It’s a chance to see Maggie from a completely different perspective, taking in all the bits of the island you know and discovering plenty you’ve probably never seen before.

Be Your Own Captain
Take control of your own jet ski for the entire tour while being guided and supported by our trained team.
Professional Guiding & Safety
Every tour is led by an experienced guide who provides a full safety briefing, on-water supervision, route leadership, and marine-park compliance throughout the experience.
Coastline Cruising
Travel along Magnetic Island’s iconic granite headlands and unique rock formations, with your guide sharing local knowledge about the coastline and surrounding National Parks.
Marine Encounters
Keep an eye out for fish, turtles, rays, dolphins and, during the season, humpback whales, with your guide on hand to help spot wildlife and share info along the way.
Hidden Bays & Island Stories
Visit secluded bays accessible only by ocean and hear light commentary about the area’s natural features, marine parks, and a few local stories from our crew.
Equipment & EMC
We provide everything you need: thermal rashies, life jackets, goggles and dry bags.
Your Environmental Management Charge (EMC) contributes directly to the daily protection and management of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.
Tour Photos Included
Relax and enjoy the ride, your guide captures photos throughout the tour, and you’ll receive full access at no extra cost.
Photo ID
Bring one form of valid photo identification, such as a driver’s licence, 18+ card or passport. Your guide will check this during the pre-tour briefing.
Credit Card
A credit card matching the ID is required for registration. No deposit is withheld, charges only apply in the unlikely event of an incident.
Clothing
Wear something comfortable for check-in. We’ll fit you with a thermal rashie.
Sunglasses & Hats
We provide tinted goggles for sun and splash protection. You’re welcome to bring a bucket or fishing hat with a secure strap (excludes straw hats, which can’t be worn on tour).
Phones & Cameras
You’re welcome to bring your phone or small camera on the ski. Your guide will show you the safest storage options during the briefing.
Sunscreen & Towel
Bring a towel for after your tour. If you didn’t pre-order sunscreen, feel free to bring your own, we include time to apply it once you’re suited up.
Water Bottle
Bring a small reusable water bottle. Each jet ski glove box fits one bottle up to around 600 mL, and your guide will point out the safest way to store it.
English Proficiency
Participants must have a clear understanding of English and be able to follow instructions and communicate effectively with their guide at all times.
Swimming Ability
All participants must be confident, competent swimmers. This is essential for safety in the unlikely event of entering the water.
Weight Limits
- Single rider: 120 kg max
- Twin share: 160 kg combined max
Age Requirements
- Minimum age for a passenger with an adult (18+): 6 years old
  (We recommend 8+ for the Full Island Tour due to duration and conditions.)
- Riders aged 16–17 may operate a jet ski alone but cannot carry an underage passenger.
- A parent or guardian must also be booked on the tour, and both must present valid photo ID and a Visa/Mastercard at check-in.
Medical Conditions & Alcohol: Please read our Terms & Conditions before booking. You must confirm you have no pre-existing medical conditions that could affect your hire (e.g., back or eye issues), are not pregnant, and have a 0 BAC at the time of riding.
Your safety and operational briefing begins at your booked tour time, covering essential information, riding techniques and marine-park requirements. For example, for an 8:30 AM booking, we aim to have you on the water by 9:00 AM.

Daily Operations
Tours operate daily from Horseshoe Bay, with multiple departures per day during peak season, supported by our dedicated team of experienced guides who ensure quality, safety, and expert interpretation on every tour.
No Licence or Experience Needed
No previous jet ski experience or licence is required. Your guide will take you through everything you need to know before heading out.
Small Group Tours
We run small-group experiences with up to 10 participants, supported by one or two qualified tour guides, depending on conditions and group size.
Safety First
Before launching, you’ll receive a comprehensive safety briefing, equipment demonstration, and guidance on riding techniques and marine-park requirements.

Find us in Horseshoe Bay, just a 1-minute walk from the beachfront bus stop. Look for the blue banner under the palm trees beside the boat ramp. Get directions.
Full Island Tour Conditions
The Full Island Guided Jet Ski Tour is our most weather-dependent tour. If your preferred day isn’t available on our calendar, please call us on 4758 1100 or email us and we’ll talk you through your options.
Tour Adjustments
On rare occasions, weather, sea conditions or minimum numbers may prevent us from completing the full island lap. If this occurs, we’ll switch to our Top End Tour and refund the price difference. Your guide will keep you updated every step of the way.
Minimum Numbers
The Full Island Jet Ski Tour requires a minimum of 2 jet skis (2–4 people) to operate. The Top End Tour and Five Beach Bay Tour do not have a minimum number.
Coming from Townsville?
For our 8:30 AM tours, we recommend catching the 7:00 AM SeaLink passenger ferry from Townsville. SeaLink is the passenger ferry service and is different from Magnetic Island Ferries.
Connecting Bus
When you arrive at the Nelly Bay Ferry Terminal, the connecting bus leaves at 7:40 AM and arrives in Horseshoe Bay at approximately 7:52 AM. This gives you plenty of time to grab a coffee, take a walk along the beach and make your way to our office before your tour.
We Don't Recommend the 8:20 AM Bus
We ask you to arrive at our office at around 8:20 AM, ready for your 8:30 AM briefing. The later bus, which connects with the 7:45 AM ferry, doesn't arrive in Horseshoe Bay until after this time, making it too late for our morning tour.
